April 9 and Friday, April 11 from 4:30pm-6:00pm.

Boys & Girls Club members.

Congratulations to fourth grader, Daquan Stuart for
earning the most points of all Club members during March!
Power Hour!, our homework program sponsored by Progress
Energy, occurs Monday - Thursday from 3:30-4:30. Members
can receive help with their homework during those hours from
staff and volunteers.
The Hurricane Academy is a tutorial and homework help
program, sponsored by the Carolina Hurricanes Professional
Hockey Team, exclusively for middle and high school
students. The Academy's hours are Monday-Friday
2:30pm-6:00pm.
Character & Leadership Development:
Torch Club members participated in Trees Across
Raleigh on Saturday, April 5th at Lions Park.
On Tuesday, April 25th and Thursday, April 27th, the Torch
Club partnered with the Raleigh Rescue
Mission to clean the
Child Development Center of the mission. Members sanitized
toys, beds, shelves,
books and anything else that germs were
hiding. The employees were very appreciative of the
member's efforts.
