Washington Elementary Boys & Girls Club

Education & Career Development

These programs enable youth to become proficient in basic educational disciplines, apply learning to everyday situations and embrace technology to optimize employability.

Power Hour, our homework program takes place Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-5:00pm.  Members can receive help with their homework during those hours from staff

and volunteers. 

 

                                

The Hurricane Academy is a tutorial/homework help program, funded by the Carolina Hurricane Professional Hockey Team, exclusively for middle and high school students. 

The Academy's hours are Monday-Friday from 2:30pm-6:00pm.  If  you have any

questions, you can contact Jason Preston or Melody Braswell at (919) 838-9975.

                       

Does your child need extra help with reading and writing?

Join the Community ALP Program.

The ALP Program will begin on Tuesday, September 14 and run throughout the

school year.  This year ALP will tutor grades 3rd-5th on Tuesdays and Thursdays

from 4:00pm-6:00pm.
