Youth of the
Year
2007 Youth of the Year
On February 2, 2007
twenty-four judges from the community had to
decide the
Youth of Year for each club and then the overall winner
in
the RBC Centura Youth of the Year competition.
Byron L., Raleigh
Boys Club,
was selected as the overall winner as our
Youth of the
Year. He will be going to Seymour Johnson Air Force
Base
for the North Carolina Youth of the Year
competition as our
representative.
Other finalists chosen
were Brandon J., Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club;
Thomas T., Zebulon Boys & Girls Club,
Quawinda P.,
Washington Elementary Boys & Girls
Club; Melanie P., Raleigh Girls Club.
Bill Bunn from RBC
Centura was the keynote speaker at the dinner that
evening.
